AIS General Provisions: Integrated Information Package and Movement Area Reporting

Integrated Aeronautical Information Package

Aeronautical information is published as an integrated package that includes:

1. AIP (Aeronautical Information Publication).
2. AIP Supplements.
3. NOTAM and Pre-flight Information Bulletins (PIB).
4. AIC (Aeronautical Information Circulars).
5. Checklists and lists of valid NOTAM.

Post-flight Information

For international aerodromes, arrangements must be made to receive information from aircrews regarding:

• State and operation of navigation facilities.
• Presence of wildlife hazards. This information is channeled to the AIS for distribution as necessary.

Information on the Movement Area

Must be reported without delay:

• Construction work.
• Rough surfaces.
• Snow, ice, water.
• Failure of visual aids / power supply.
• Daily inspections are required (at least once for codes 1-2, twice for 3-4).
